No, too cold. And a cold wind as well. I went out and fed turkey town. Next up, feed the bunnies.

Here is our first baby - it's so cute. Our dark ones and tuxedos always turn out to be boys. Fingers crossed this time is different. And a little white one is now drying off in the incubator so s/he has a friend.

I'm wondering if the fact that the first batch of eggs we put in had been sitting out in the aviary for awhile that, in this hot weather, they had just started to develop. It won't be day 16 until tonight!

There are more pipping. We just have a mixed colour group so it's fun seeing what pops out.

Thanks for the Anniversary greeting! It’s been 52 years.....or 13, depending on how you count! :love
If you tell people how old you were when you got married and how many times your anniversary date had come around, you are still a young person!

I am locking down chicken eggs March 1st!
I'll be eating some chicken eggs on March 1st :D

we're supposed to get 4-8" of snow starting late tonight and going throughout tomorrow. Please, let the weather folks be wrong!
I hope they are but if they aren't, PLEASE don't share with me again!!!

I talked her into 300 mini’s vs 300 regular cupcakes
:th
I’ll have to bake the cupcakes the weekend before and freeze them and then frost the morning of.
Maybe start now with a dozen, freeze them and keep doing that until May :D

I can bake 24 at a time so it won’t be too bad and it only takes 12 minutes to bake a pan. I want them as fresh as possible :D

Yeah I guess 2 months of freezer burn wouldn't improve them much. Still, those 300 are still over 12 batches, going to be a busy weekend in May!

Just heard that the guy who started Trader Joe's died, part of the radio spot mentioned that Trader Joe's is owned by the same parent company that owns Aldi's (since 1979). We have a TJ's, I think they should open an Aldi's too!!!!
