The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We've had a bit of rain here but not as much as they predicted. Most of it slid past us down the west coast.

I thought I'd share some photos of our two little Old English Game bantam babies who are so funny. The bigger one is called Squeaks and the little midget is called Ffion (pronounced FEE-on). It's Welsh for Foxglove. I think she's going to stay a midget as she's about half the size of her big sister (the breeder thinks they are both girls). They spend most of their days cuddling in the cave I made them. It's a teddy with an old tea towel over the top. Squeaks is very calm and cuddly. Ffion doesn't like to be out of sight of Squeaks, but enjoys a cuddle too.

They sure are beautiful. Will you try and set the eggs if they arrive in the next few days (after the weekend)? Or do you think it wouldn't be worth even trying? It must be very frustrating.
Howdy Jae,
Yeah, I'll set them, just won't hold out for too much hope. They probably will be here Monday? USPS tracking page isn't updating correctly....supposedly, according to their tracking page, their still at the post office in New York. That can't be because the ones I got yesterday said the same thing. USPS

Here's some pics of the 'white' Silver Goldens

That is frustrating. The whole tracking thing annoys me sometimes, because half the time they don't update anything until it's been delivered. Which is especially annoying when you've paid extra for tracking.

:fl for eggs turning up and for a little survivor or two.

Thanks Jae
I added some pics after you posted this.

Not yet, but might this evening. I picked up a load of mulch for the garden yesterday so today will be busy in the garden.
i understand that, husband started replacing the greenhouse walls yesterday, one down and three to go, the roof he replaced about three years ago so its good i have alot of things started in there, in the garden, mostly cool weather things, english peas, radishes, onions leeks, i also planted lettuce, mustard greens and rape (canola) i like it better than collards but still lots to start and transplant if the weather gets warmer
