Looks pretty wet too. Try to keep him warm and dry. And make sure if he would happen to move around over night, that there's nothing he could rake that sac across and make it any worse. Good luck sweetie!

The navel should close up on its own. That one is going to need water and moist, soft food as soon as it's up and about, but warm and dry is the first order of business.
I've had several live through ruptured yolk.
As soon as posted that i looked in at him and the sac has come off! It isn't bleeding alot, just a tiny bit. What should I do now? I've had chicks hatch with alot of umbical left that was bleeding and I've put betadine and Neosporin on it, should I do the same with this guy?
