I'm so sorry to hear that!
I've been finding that the ones that have bigger pip holes and take the longest to hatch are getting sticky to some extent. I think because the more exposure to the inside of the egg, for extended time and the forced air make a great combo for them to get sticky.
The chick with the bubble on the shoulder didn't make it but the bubble was gone within 24 hours and I don't believe had anything to do with it. So
I'm hoping they all pull through for you. And I don't brace legs until 24-48 hours later (unless it's extreme) because I've been finding if it's mild, it usually goes away as the leg muscles strengthen during the first day or two. Can't wait to see a group shot when they are all fluffy!
Thanks! I actually meant to ask you about your bubble one, and forgot to add that! What do you think happened to yours?
I'm going to have hubby hold all of them in his hands, for size reference. I still can't get over how itty bitty they are. Really makes them hard to work on too, so I hope I don't have to band that one's legs! I agree with you, and I think being with the others will help.
