It was in the middle of my comment...  but I saw it.  My LOs have been very slow starting.  I think I may have 2-4 (out of 7!)  that are laying.  Or they rotate days.  I only get to check them about every other day, and have only gotten 5 eggs maximum for 2 days..  I'm very disappointed in them, and if they don't pick up soon, they will be giving up their space!  :he

I've heard Orps aren't that great of layers from several people. No personal experience though.

My Aussie/Orps are laying great... usually 4 eggs a day outta 4 hens, sometimes 3... gonna hatch a bunch of theirs for Easter and about 50% should be Lav...

In the last few got it went from-5 to 30 degrees out....spring is coming....
Yay!!! WV that white quail is pretty....you need m more of those!!!

Hopefully by next week though, it will just be the two of them left to battle each other.  I'm planning to get the OEGBs out of there.  (they have 5 new "older" ladies coming!)  ;)
