Our first muscovy ducklings

Here the bread, intended for the "adults" was a little to high, but nothing seems too far fetched for curious little ducks?

We were totally amazed, though learned here on the website that ducks developed much more quickly than chickens, to see mother and ducklings out in the middle of the field within just a few hours after hatching!

Twelve little muscovy ducklings!

First day out, the youngest were only born a few hours before!

We have a second duck sitting on some 18 eggs and a chinese good sitting on something like ten eggs. After watching our chickens develop from three hens and one rooster, it's a whole new adventure!
