Hi all
We have 2 muskies make and female, whrn i let them out of there house in th morning the female atacks the male . I dont know what to do and am getting worried for him, plz help they are only 4mths old
 
My females will pick on my drakes when they are that age but not to the point of injury
Can you explain what she is doing? exactly. Is she actually hurting him?

All she dose is grabs his wings when they first get.

Then when they goto bed she fights with him
I am also cofused as well, i know the males have the red on there face but she has got it ( is this normal). I know she is the female cause she is laying and he is the size of a normal male.

Plz help]

How about some pics. You could try separating for a few days with fencing to see if that helps but maybe if she isn't hurting him like plucking out his feathers and causing bleeding you can just try and let them work it out. Have you seen any mating behavior from him? and they are 4 months old and the female is laying? Every Muscovy I have ever had here and most were hatched here never laid the year they were hatched they always lay the next year usually around 8 -9 months old.

You say she fights with him what does he do?
 
We yes she is lay and yes we were told the were born on th 10 of july this yr. As for him he just runs away, the past couple of days they seem to have sorted it out
 
I'd let them work it out if no one is seriously getting injured. She's just nagging him a bit
