The first picture is of our EE that we knew for sure that she was an EE when we got her. The rest of the pictures are of one we thought was just another Buff mix but to our surprise she laid her first egg today and it was blueish green in color! I was wondering if someone could tell me what mix you think she is and if the black EE could be her mom? They were together when we bought them. I also added a picture of her first egg next to one of the other EE's eggs. It's so tiny!














 
Where did you get them from? You could ask that person if the black EE is her mom. I'd say probably not but you never know.

I got them from a local person that was tired of raising the chickens. He did say that he left them hatch a few times but I'm new to raising chickens and just wondered if it was possible for the black EE to be the mom. I don't know breeding patterns at all and what you would expect the chicks to look like from the black EE.
 
It's possible that maybe she is the black EE chick if the black EE was bred with a rooster that had dominant genes. If it is her chick the rooster was probably a buff Orpington.
