Well atleast thats good news in away i am still sorry she sick those bumps look like they would ich a bit.
What on earth is wrong with this chicken?! Pullet 3 to 4 months old, bumps all over the face!

Hello, I wanted to check in again. This chicken is getting worse! The bumps are bigger, and very very hard. They are covered with crusty oosing scabs on the outside. One of them has pushed one of her eyes closed completely. She seems to be losing weight. I have brought her inside to a clean warm cage with warm mash with antibiotics mixed in for secondary infection. I'm also treating her bumps with essential oils for infection. Does anyone have any other ideas for me? My vet friend, only saw pictures of her and did not see her in person or examine her. Could the diagnosis be wrong?

If its not getting better then i would say there a chance that yes she could have diagnoised her wrong. Its very hard to give a diagnioses based off pictures alone i would take her to the vet if you can to so they can see and feel in person and possibly give a better diagnoises.

The bumps got to be about as big as grapes. Her face was completely distorted. And she died this morning.
Are you going to have a necropsy done ?

I agree with Enola, you should cut open the bumps and take a look at the inside, maybe post a picture. If it is pus-filled, I doubt it was any sort of tumor...

looks to me like fowl pox you will need medicine pick it up at local feed store

The fowl pox I've seen is usually much smaller, but it is definitely a possibility.
