Easter Eggers are not Ameraucana, and Ameraucana are not Easter Eggers. One is a recognized breed, and has specific characteristics, and always lays blue eggs. The other is a mixed breed that may or may not have a blue egg gene.

Thank you. Lol. I just bought a blue ameraucana but its not an easter egger. I think people are so use to calling am ees because of hatcheries.
