EGG IS THIN AND WRINKLED......WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?

My 5 hens have slowed way down on egg production.  Also, egg from one of my chickens is thin and wrinkled.  My chickens have cut back on there pellets.  They free range about 2 hrs. per day.  I give the veggies in the A.M. .  Any thoughts?

Most will think calcium deficiency. Could just be a one time glitch, no worries. If it continues, and you are feeding balanced later grain, you may need to cull.

When they are winding down for season it's not abnormal for them to lay a funky egg or two. I wouldn't worry unless it is all the time, though not much you could do.
Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.

I brake for squirrels.

Some of my birds.

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.
