I'll awnser your questions!

I have a 3 year old black sex link hen the is not eating and listless. Her lower body appears swollen but soft to the touch. She had slightly messy vent area that I cleaned up. I need to know what is wrong and can it be treated/fixed and do I need to quarantine?
Thanks
Todd

I would suggest you post on the emergencies and diseases section of the forum.

we just brought home a brahma rooster, he looks like an adult but his tail feathers are not quite that long yet. anyway, he's pretty aggressive when it comes to mating, doesn't really "ask" for it with the dance just chases them down and practically pulls their feathers trying to catch them. Other than that, they all seem to get along really well. before he came to us, he was just kept in a pin separate from the flock because the previous owner already had a rooster and didn't have enough hens so I just assumed he was really excited to be here. Its been 3 days now, is this just his personality or will he mellow out? I thought brahma roosters were friendlier than the average joe?

Some roosters get aggressive but I don't think it will hurt the hens. It may have to get adjusted to being in a flock. Sorry I didn't answer quickly, but he should be good by now.
