How long to allowing for hatching?

I spotted one pipping at approx 4pm. Went in half an hour later and another one was too
. The second one is now out, but the first one still only has a tiny hole?
 
It can sometimes take a long time. It is difficult work and they rest a lot. Some pop right out and some take 12 hours or more. Give them at least 24 hours before intervening.
Assisted hatches don't end up well for me. There's a reason they don't hatch.
