Chickens ate Pointsettias

my dad dropped a pointsettia on my porch as a gift last night and I just saw that my chickens got into it and ate a LOT. Called my dad, he said that the store said its a "kid friendly" plant. If it truly is "kid friendly", is it chicken friendly? Can I still eat their eggs? Will they die?

Don't panic. chickens should be fine. Here is an article that should put you at ease.

Poinsettia toxicity is an urban legend.
