I agree there is something else besides Cochin going on here. Are there any Polish birds around? Not sure if their comb would make something like this when combined with a straight combed bird. Also, the colors you mention should not produce a chick with this coloring. Add in the sparse leg feathering and I'm pretty sure one of the parents isn't as advertised.
