This guy got sick over a month ago. At first just kind of tucking his head down against his shoulders. Then His legs got so weak that he could barely stand. I isolated him, dewormed him, and fed him nytradrench and all the good food he would eat. He never stopped ]eating or drinking but got so bad that he would barely try standing. When he did he'd wobble and catch hkmself with hiS wings then Just sit down. The last two days he's much improved,, standing most of the time but he stands so waddle legged and with his ties not quite straight. Any ideas?

Sorry. Meant that he sends spraddle legged znd with tied not straight Is there more I should be going for him? He's about a year old

Oh how I hate auto correct and the tiny print on my cell phone. Trying one more time: he stands spraddle legged and with his toes not straight Thete. If that's not right then I give up. lol

Was he vaccinated for Mareks disease? That can affect balance, cause various symptoms such as lameness, wing drooping, and tumors. He also could have a vitamin deficiency. It sounds like he had wry neck (crook neck, torticolis) which can be a symptoms of many things including vitamin deficiency and Mareks. Giving vitamins (including E and selenium) can help with wry neck. Also make sure that he is eating and drinking well. Here is some reading:

I don't think he was marek vaccinated. But would he show so much improvement if it was Mareks? Would he even still be alive after s month and a half? The three who share a fence line with him (and he was with them when he got sick) don't show any symptoms. I'll get the vitamins tomorrow and start him on those. Thanks!
