Hi everyone.
First I need to say... This is a informative and well put together site. Compliments to everyone.
My name is Randy from Southeastern Az.
I recently moved to the country and am able to raise chickens. I am in the research mode on all this Back Yard Chicken Raising.
Like I stated before, I am finding this site to be very helpful and informative.

Very nice to Meet your Randy. Glad you joined the Backyard chickens flock. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. The Learning Center is the best place to start a chicken education, I kid you not.

One thing that makes raising chickens so much fun is that there is always something new to learn about them. And the eggs aren't bad either!

Good luck with your flock and you will find raising chickens in the desert is a bit different then in cooler places but just remember always have plenty of clean water for your flock and some shade to rest in .......
