I have a piece of plastic fencing that has 2X2 square holes in it I tie wrapped both ends to make a pocket then I put the cabbage or Romaine down inside. It takes them a while but that is the purpose to give them something to do. They can get hold of the veggies through the holes and work on shredding it apart. I have also cut the head of cabbage into. You could probably pound something no edible[very long nail] through the head and hang with a strong piece of rope or twine. We just have to make sure what we use can't be eaten if it isn't suppose to be eaten. lol
I know what you mean about things that aren't edible! It's amazing what they try and eat! Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if sucks would be able to use that type of "feeder" the way the chickens do because of their bills. But it's good to know they can!
