Ducks tend to stop laying when it's freezing everyday. My Indian Runner hen stops when we get daily freezes.

Indian Runners are an amazing breed in my opinion. They're my favorite breed of duck. They have 8 colors recognized by the American Poultry Association. The colors are: Fawn & White, White, Black, Penciled, Gray (mallard color), Blue, Chocolate, and Buff. They are the second best duck egg layer. The average hen laying 300 eggs a year. They are great foragers, in some countries they are used for eggs, pest control in fields, and used to train herding dogs how to herd.
