khaki campbell duckling

Thread Starter

my duckling internally pipped between 24-36 hours ago, he is still moving inside the egg, i havent heard any peeping from him though. he appears to be bobbing up and down, every now and then opening his mouth. i can see the scratches that hes made inside of the egg but im worried because its been so long since he internally pipped im worried that he will run out of air!! is this normal?? or should i do something to help?

I am not a hatcher - just checked in - I would try helping, but let's see if @Orca5094 or @WVduckchick  or @Lacrystol  or other hatchers might check in.

Please PM me, or use @Amiga in the message if you would like to hear from me soon.
