So I have been incubating chickens for my science fair project, so far everything is kinda going well. I have a separate chicken coop from my older chicken coop so when the babies grow out of the broader I can put them in this chicken coop without worrying about the older ones. My first two babies are 2 months today and I was going to put them with the older chickens but have noticed that their combs are pretty large, if they are males I need to get rid of them seeing that I have a rooster, but if they are females I will put them in the coop. What do you guys think? I say both Roos...

Sorry I can't help with answering but you might try posting your question in the Chicken Breeds > What breed or gender is this? forum.

Full side shots would help, though I am sure the red is a cockerel. I suspect the barred is as well.

As the others said some full body images would help, but with those red combs and wattles (as well as the relatively large size) at only 8 weeks of age I suspect they are both cockerels.

Sorry, I have been on a cruise and just got back .... Here are some pictures of the full body .. Note that when I let the babies free, the rooster always seems to go after the red baby.
