I went out tgis morning to let my chickens out and my sexlink wouldnt stand up and walk. Shes staying hunkered down and trying to walk like that. I dont know what to do. She seems to not have any balance when she tries to stand all the way up. Shes almost 7 months old. What does this mean and how can i help her if somethings wrong?

**UPDATE**
I just went out and checked on her. Shes walking normally now. Eating and drinking normally as well. This morning when i picked her she didnt make too much off a fuss which wasnt normal but wjen i just picked her up a few min ago she went crazy as usual. Flapping wings kicking feet yelling at me. She doesnt like picked up.

I dont know what could have been the matter but she seems okay now.

First you should get a rubber glove and feel inside her vent an inch or so for a stuck egg. I would also place her in a pen where you can put food and water and watch her. Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? Hopefully, it is just something temporary or an injury to her leg. Look for any swelling, bruising, or sores on feet and legs. I would put some poultry vitamins in her water, in case of a vitamin deficiency. Make sure it contains riboflavin (vitamin B2.) Here is some info on Mareks disease:

Okay. Thank you. I will try these things and see if i can figure anything out. Yes she was vaccinated. I went and checked on her again and she seems to be walking better but shes favoring one leg when she walks. I checked it and no bruising sores or injuries. She is walking slowly and holds her leg up between strides and lets it down slowly with her toes curled up. Could there be an injury that im not seeing? As far as the vent check neither one of my reds (production and sexlink) have layed in about 2 weeks which ive found is due to season. (At least is what ive read on here) But could it be more than just the season?

Thatnk you for your response! Im wondering now if it was a problem with an egg. After everything this morning she is back to normal and i went oit again and found a brown egg! The first one in 2 weeks! Super excited. But i dont know if it was her or my production red. Im thinking it was her tho because of the way she was acting and getting an egg and now shes back to herself.
