Surviving Minnesota!

That's a very valid concern. Did you ever check with your extension agent to see if you have it in your area?

Yes, I did. They didn't really know, or said I would have to have the soil tested.

really? They think the parasite is going to be so numerous that your one little sample you send in is going to have it???

Sounds like you talked to a clerk that had no idea what you were talking about.. I think the best thing is to get 2 poults and see what happens your out around 20 bucks if you have it, and ahead if you don't.
Nathan if you have space, and your chooks aren't eating low-land earthworms like I eat gummy worms

... then you'd probably be good. Housing them seperately would really be helpful. High sandy-ish soil is good. Low swampy dirt is not. Ralphie is set up well. Me? I would have turkey's with X's in their eyes in about 2 days.

I regret to inform you Judy and I are getting divorced. She does not know it yet. I had a secret stash of frozen Chocolate chip cookie dough ( made into ready to bake cookies)..

Those are my treat to myself. She is not suppose to even know they exist! I went to have one and the bag is gone~!

I found it in the trash. This kind of deceit cannot be allowed to stand. I am now having a cookie dough craving attack, and there is no dough. I made beef jerky this weekend. I just finished smoking and drying it this morning. I had it for lunch, it was so good I ate enough to almost get sick on it. I went to get a cookie for dessert and that is when I found what she had done........

I am going to miss her but, I have to hold tough on this kind of violation!

What are low-land earthworms? The soil here is mostly clay and black dirt, not much sand, and not swampy either.

Well, maybe they wanted a earthworm, it was someone with the U of M extension service. I'll keep researching them, maybe next spring we'll get some.
