Surviving Minnesota!

Hi chickeners . . . . had a radioactive (?) stress test last Thursday and it messed up the mother board. Dealing with that issue and it kind of, just a little, lays me low.
The chicks are still growing and Rosie is a good mama. What is amazing to me is how hens communicate their desires. She wanted out of the dust bathing area with the chicks for a while today so I let her - and to watch all the interactions of the flock is very interesting. I hope both chicks make it to maturity as I want to see what they look like. What was it? Legs up they are pullets? Legs down they are cockerels? I hope I am right because IF I have it right they should be hens.
Glad for the rain ILLS. A nice, soft, absorbent rain for a couple of days would be nice. Its clouding now for the rain coming into the banana belt.
