Surviving Minnesota!

It seems to me that there are quite a number of Loons who have taken up permanent residence and never leave the state.
We are having a mild rain shower at the moment. It will likely melt some snow but also put my fire out, and I worked hard to get it started. I love it when the flames are shooting 20 to 30 feet high.
My chickens are free ranging daily and egg production is nearing peak. I am hoping for some drier and warmer weather to facilitate getting projects completed.

swarm traps are setup . This one near cherry tree . my Nelson blackberry starts arrived . Bloodroot is blooming . Ruhbarb is up .
