Surviving Minnesota!

Lol

Our farm is called 'Whistling Dixie Farms' and is named after our Black and Tan coonhound Dixie.
I'm not sure why we ever went with a plural on 'farms' but it is too late now

it rolls off the tongue better I suppose.
I always find it funny how people put farms when they just have one. I guess its the same as having fake storefronts.

Yesterday was a big number day on eggs . Set 117 eggs today . Candled last weeks setting and removed 28 out of 78 . Darn cold weather . Candled the 2 week old eggs and removed 6 . I discovered today on the iffy ones that I can candle from the bottom and find clear ones easier . The yolk is visible floating high in the egg .
