BC Do you have an electronic brain for Sadie? They work. Maybe even a cheap wireless fence in the coop. They make a transmitter that only has a 10 ft range or so. Which would keep her out of the coop. Of course, you would not get the personal satisfaction of zapping her when she gets near the door, like you would with the true electronic brain..
Because conditioner is suppose to make your hair fluffy, isn't it?
BTW The Tooth brush worked, I hope. I brushed her and she fluffed up enough I put her in the MHP. I have not seen her this morning, I hope she is alive. She is so small compared to the others.
Same to you Kloppers..
I want warm today... If I get enough coffee I am headed outside for the day.
Did I tell you, I forget what I say on which thread while drinking coffee, I figured out why Bert and the CX's cannot get fertile eggs?
Of Course, I a down to one CX and Bertha the toad, the other CX's have died.
As far as Camp Day 2016 goes I am not sure I am going to be able to raise CX's this year. My DW is really against it this year. She wants us to clear the food out of the freezer before we put more in. We have a lot of cow and pig left and a fair amount of chicken. I tried to appeal to her soft side by telling her how cute they are. That failed because she does not have a soft side....Heart of stone, I am sure.
I was doing some google searches, I found out in Minnesota we can sell eggs to retailers (restaurants and stores) fairly simply. We need to candle the eggs. package them in new or used cartons with our name on them and a expiration day 30 days out from the day they were candled. After they are candled they have to be refrigerated at 45 degrees or less.
We also need to fill out a form and send to the state saying we are selling eggs.
Have any of you tried doing that? I wonder if a bunch of us could "loosely" band together and sell to the same place. I looked this up after a night mare egg sale last night.
We had 10 dozen of eggs build up this week, (not counting the 5 dozen I have ready for the incubator). We called a person that likes to buy 10 dozen at a time. They agreed to buy them but wanted us to meet them in Rogers, we decided to go to Cabala's for supper and window shopping. We agreed to meet him at 7pm.
We got there right at 7, he sent us a text saying he was in Albertville at the outlet mall. We told him we were in Cabala's. After sitting there about 15 minutes, Judy texted him and asked where he was. His reply "In the Nike store"...The PITA did not even start to come to Rogers yet!
I was ready to boil the eggs and feed them back to the girls, Judy being more patient with PITA's than I am, said no, lets take them to him. We did. Against my better judgment!
We got to the nike store and parked in the lot. Judy again texted him and said we are in the parking lot. He said he would be out in a few minutes. It was a good 10 minutes before he came out! I was fuming. Judy dealt with the PITA after demanding I not get out of the car or say one word. He told her he was at Cabala's at 6:30 and we were not there so he left. She told him we were to meet at 7. He said "Yeah, but I thought you would be early".....
He is off the list now....
