its 1 inch chicken wire?
not thinking to many birds are going to get in there

and outside is going to be a treadle feeder where they have to stand on it to open it and the water is all nipple system
the fence shades the back of the coop in the late afternoon that was one of the reasons i put it near the west fence.

ill be putting in a small water pool in the summer with some terracotta tiles in it to cool them during the hot summer

Any/all mousies can get through 1" chicken wire. Small birds can also get through the small-diameter mesh, but less likely.    If the wire is only at the top of the coop, you won't have to deal with the first varmint that made it through (found dead on the way out)  my 1/2" x 1" welded wire run...a 22" rattlesnake:

 

 

Sorry...didn't see in your pics that the coop was near your west fence.
