Does anyone else feel like the world as went to pieces ? Have you started homesteadimg or preparing

It's just a thought just kind a wondering if everybody else feels like the economy is collapsing we got Isys trying to take us out for no good reason and many other things going on in this world has anybody else thought about this what are your views on it what are you doing in case this does happen just comment below!
 
I think that every generation has worried that we are doomed (I am certain they felt this way back in the 50s with the constant threat of war). It will happen someday, all things end, but I am betting, and praying, it won't be for a very longtime.
However I am all for homesteading, working on it myself. I think our society has gotten to removed from nature. I also feel a lot of our problems could be solved by being less materialistic. I also think it would go a long way to helping the environment if more people grew their own food and bought less cheap factory grown food.

We're not homesteading in the strictest since as some of our family members do have jobs, however we are attempting to become as self-sufficient as possible as we are definitely concerned about a potential economic collapse. It's one of the reasons we sold our home in Hawaii (which would be a terrible place to be if the economy collapsed) and bought our farm in NW Montana.
 
I am stuck close to town right now, how ever I'm wanting to move farther out! Once my seventh grader graduates from high school I have my 55 chickens ! I sell the eggs to pay for there feed and organic treats! I'm getting meat birds both chickens and turkey this February and hogs as well! I'm going to grow a garden and can because I feed eight people and it costs me over 9/1000 bucks to feed all of us! I also want to bra less to feed my family is something should happen!
