Today was day 19 with 5 Coturnix eggs. I am using an LG 9300 with the fan kit. The temp on the LG showed 99.5 - 100.5 the entire time. I also have an Incutherm Plus that was reading very close to the LG. Did an eggtopsy tonight and there was no development at all. The eggs looked like your everyday breakfast egg when I opened them. I guess the incubator wasn't the problem I assume? Placing 15 more right now that range from 2 weeks to 1 day old. What day should I candle on to see if I am wasting my time?
 
If everything was right on and your temperatures were where the thermometers said they are, it sounds like the eggs just weren't fertile :( Good luck with your second batch! Quail are hard to candle but I found I could see development by day five when I was doing them.

Clear eggs indicate infertility. Also, you may have let the eggs sit out too long before you incubated. Hope you have a better hatch next time!
