So i got a Buff Mottled Saplepoot hen like a month ago, and she had a really bad limp and could barely walk. But it seems like shes getting worse. i think she might have bumble foot but her foot is so small its hard to tell. I know for a fact its not Mareks. shes about 1 1/5 years old.

and her toes seemed to be curled. and looks like she might have leg mites

she was a show bird thats why she has that metal band, but i might take it off

thats her on the ground.

The lady i got her from said that the rooster mated her too much and that she just needed to rest. but i think she might have some broken bones. Can anybody please help me. Could bumble foot do all of that? i really dont want to lose her since shes a rare and expensive breed. I'll send any photos you guy want to see.
Thank You!

Take her to a vet. Get the band off. Treat her for leg mites. Give her supplements on her food like Poultry Cell and Poultry Booster by Rooster Booster. They can be found at your local feed stores. I feed feather fixer in the winter almost exclusively. My chickens love it. Look for feather mites also that cluster on the shaft of the feathers, usually around the neck portions and rear. Mites can be very debilitating. Good luck.
