This one has no spurs but it has the largest wattle and combs, and when the neighbours rooster crows it makes a strangling sound.

This one only has smaller wattle and combs and has also been crowing/strangling noise

The top and bottom are both cockerels, the middle one it's hard to tell from the picture but I'm leaning towards that one being a cockerel too, especially if that's the one that's been crowing (I couldn't tell if you meant that one or the bottom one have been crowing).

Agreed

I'm new to this and I must be terrible at this because I thought the first was a hen and also the second. I'm unsure about the last. Can one of y'all show me how y'all come to think they're roos? I'm not being a smart butt. I really want to learn. Thanks.

No worries! On all of them the early comb and wattle development is a clue. On the top one it's the comb and wattles and the dead giveaway is the shiny red feathers in the wing bar - only males get that. The huge feet are also a clue. On the second one, it's the comb and wattles and the crowing attempts. On the third, it's the comb and wattles and the shiny dark red feathers on the wings and shoulder/back area.

Thank you so much. I have a lot to learn lol. With mine comparing side by side was easier. I don't know if I'll ever be able to look at a picture and tell lol.
