Might add some cocci vet to her water.
Not sure if it is related but we got 2 darker brown eggs today (presumably from the other 2 girls).
If anyone has thoughts or suggestions I'd love to hear them!
So sorry about your quail. Do you keep chickens and are they near your quail? Chickens and quail can not mix. The chickens carry things that kill quail. I have seen this all too often. Gamebirds are highly susceptible to chicken diseases, even if your chickens exhibit no symptoms. Quail are also very susceptible to what wild birds carry as well. I keep Bobwhites and keep them hundreds of feet away from my chickens. I wash my hands between the two, don't share food or waterers, or cleaning utensils. If you have walk in quail aviaries as I do, I change my shoes as well.
Sounds like this could be either MG or Coryza. You need to get this bird on some antibiotics. Either Sulfadimethoxine or Duramycin. Keep this bird under some heat as well.
Good luck and I hope you can save her!
