I found this in my nesting box today. It has poop at one end and what looks like pasta at the other. No I have not feed them pasta but I have feed them whole pumpkins. Could it be from that? I also recently feed them turnip greens. Could it be that or does she have worms??

That is a large clump of roundworms. I would get some dewormer for your flock. Wazine is used in the water, and will treat roundworms only, which are the most common worm. Valbazen or Safeguard Liquid Goat Wormer treat most chicken worms.

I will give it to them today. I'm leaving to go out of town so this is a good time to give it to them. When can I eat the eggs again? Thank you for your help!

With most dewormers it is 14 days from the last dose. Valbazen dosage is 1/2 ml orally to each chicken, and repeat in 10 days. SafeGuard dosage is 1/4 ml per pound of weight to each bird for 3-5 days in a row to get tough worms, or once and then repeat in 10 days for the round worms and cecal worms. Wazine is 1 ounce (30 ml) per gallon of water for 24 hours.
