They look like Easter Eggers to me.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Both of them are Easter Eggers as they do not conform to SOP standards for true Ameraucanas.

If their variety was not specified at the time of purchase, you have Easter Eggers. Sorry, but most birds that are sold as "Ameraucana" are really Easter Eggers. Those chicks are not standard colors, and yes you can tell that just by chick down. The accepted color varieties for Ameraucana each have their own specific color/pattern of chick down.

This is a great gallery that shows each of the accepted color varieties and what each one looks like as a chick.

Easter Eggers.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

They have their exits and their entrances,

Don't be disappointed by the news, though. EEs are some of the most GORGEOUS birds I've ever seen. They are so variable, and many of them look like little hawks. :-)

Plus, you'll have some pretty pastel colored eggs.
