Hi welcome-byc.gif

Glad you could join the flock! I afraid I'm not a duck person but I see you have posted in the duck section. That's a great place to get all the answers to your duck questions.

Wishing you the very best of luck with your ducks.

Welcome to the group!  Sometimes you get a bad drake that don't do his job. I breed ducks and i see this from time to time. It's rare, but it does happen. If he shows no interest in the hens, I would look for a replacement.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Welcome to BYC. :welcome

Do you supply them a pool to swim in? Some ducks prefer to mate in water.

Just a thought.

You win some and lose some. When at first you don't succeed: try... try... try... try and try again.

You may want to post on the  "Duck thread."      I do know ducks like to mate on water but, sometimes the female ends up getting drowned.
