Heck - I'm not having poultry AND I'm not even having Thanksgiving dinner til the next night.

Le Menu at Chez Edgemont:

Appetizer: Cheesy Potato Soup
Beef Shoulder, marinated and grilled
Salmon Alaska with a cucumber-dill sauce
Mixed green salad with beets and pecans
Frozen fruit salad
Butternut-Apple casserole
Mashed potatoes
Peas
Homemade Italian herb bread, dinner rolls
One each red and white Australian reisling, beer, tea
Desserts
Kentucky Bourbon Balls
Mud Pie
Cream Cheese Pound Cake

What are other non-conformists doing for the holiday?
 
Pescatarian here, so I will either have a tofurkey or seafood. I love gumbo for traditional Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. I live down on the Gulf Coast where we are blessed with the greatest seafood in the world!
 
I'll be at work on Thanksgiving. The whole dept will put together a potluck, so I'll have my choice of about 30-40 different dishes from around the world. I'll probably try them all.

i've been asked already to bring the cranberry reefer cake I made last year. And I think if I can find the recipe I'll make vietnamese Shu Mi (sp). The food is so good I go to work even when I'm off, just for the potlucks.
I think we should have holidays every week.
 
i am sooo excited, i get to go back home (texas) and we are having a square's (the best) smoked ham, and bbq ribs!!!
