I'm certainly no expert, but that is what the hens look like.

got my first egg today! fairly small thing so must have been one of the bantams rather then the leghorns!
congrats! Nothing like that first egg. I got my first one Monday, and she has laid every day since but one. Now if the other girls would just catch on!
