Decreased Egg Production Even WITH Supplemental Lighting?? - Page 8

AM, your best bet for figuring out the sex link thing is to go to the charts in the first post of the Sex Link information thread.  Lots of good info there.  I make sex links from my EE roo x Dominique and SLW hens.

Jesus Christ is my pilot.

My husband of 41 years is my best friend and co-pilot.

Enjoying my gardens.  My flock are my garden helpers.

Breeding a winter hearty flock with small combs and colored eggs.

Favorite breeds:  Dominique and EE.  Hatching addict.

A couple of the hens has started laying since the first of the year. Two eggs so far for a few days then none and one and repeat the last part. It looks like the hen took a month off. November 30 was the last egg and now they started laying on the first of January. They are still molting yet. What I've noticed is they don't lay when it's cold, windy and raining here compared when the sun is out. We did have strong winds and rain about the time they quit laying. Also, I've noticed that their shells are stronger than before.
