Hey there … I totally understand , I cry whenever I rehome my boys which is one of the reasons I am not going to give in to any of my broody’s for a while. I have run out of room and do not want to bring chicks into the world that I cannot keep.
She is a cutie!!
I have 6 bantams, 3 of which regularly go broody … in summer [which we are now] Cilla goes broody pretty much every 10-14 eggs or 5 weeks from the last time.
So far this summer KiKi has gone broody and spent time in broody jail, then just after breaking her Cilla and Blondie went broody at the same time. They do not ‘play’ well with others when broody so I had to set up another broody jail. Finally got those two broken and KiKi is broody again, just 17 eggs and 5 weeks from the last time
No doubt I will get her broken and either Cilla or Blondie will have another go or both of them!
Bring on winter!! lol
