Hi all, I'm looking to build a new coop I've looked at many different designs. After doing some research I came across this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmQlGF6wipg I liked the overall design and layout and I'm contemplating building it. I was just wondering is it the right route to go down.
Any advice appreciated.
 
Inadequate coop ventilation...chicken wire window not secure......despite hot wire.
Main door and pop door latches not coon proof.
Counter weighted nest cover is cool....no security latch tho.
Watering system is cool....if it never freezes where he lives.
Feed indicator is nifty, but tray is wasteful and open to weather and wild birds.

Looks like it would fit 8-10 birds....looked like he had more than that.

That's what I saw.
 
Thanks for the advice, will take all that into consideration when building, hope to start next week, wish me luck :)
