hello everyone we just purchased some pretty White silkies and i woukd love to have other colors, Buff, and black, and if i can find some lavenders!

My question is should I keep my colored silkes together in seperate pens or is it ok to have all of them in a flock? roll.png

I am not currently showing chickens however it soes interest me!

That is entirely up to you. I keep 2 pens. My pen for proper colors, and my "fun pen", which produces lots of colors. If you do mix them all in one pen, and decide at some point you don't want them all together, you could always separate them later.

If you're planning to breed, you'll probably want to keep colors separate. If you're not breeding currently, just in general housing, it's fine to have multiple varieties together.
