Today I found this little egg. I suspect it is one of my chickens first. Just wondering if this is normal. I cracked it open and there was no yolk. This is it next to a store bought. It is slightly larger than a robin's egg

Hello! I'm new in this matters. I would like to ask if it is normal that a little hen lay her first 3 eggs one day yes one day no, then stop laying for about 3 weeks. When she start laying again? I suppose that my little hen has about 21 weeks (I don't know exactly because I found her in my yard, second photo), but she's living with me since 1st of august this year. All 3 eggs were very good, orange yolk and very tasty :) but small, about 27 grams each one. I don't know the breed, I suppose that is Sebright one, but if not asking too much, can you tell me what breed she is? I live in Peru, and people from here said that is a Chilean breed Thank you

I do not know my breeds well, but there are people here who can help: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this But I can tell you that yes it is normal for new laying hens to be sporadic in their laying. As the hen matures her eggs should get larger and more regular.
