Floury egg whites

Hello all,

I can't see a way to post in the other forums so my apologies if this is in the wrong section. I have a question, one or more of our chickens (I'm not sure which) are laying eggs that have unusual egg whites when poached - they are, for want of a better way of describing them, floury, speckled and markedly different than the others. I can't find out much about this online and wondered if anyone here has had a similar experience and if so what causes it? I'm not sure if the chickens are ill or if it's something else. Many thanks for your help.

Kind Regards,

Michael.

This is the correct forum for your question.

Pics really help get answers.

Could you post before and after poaching pics?

That's true. I'll have to take some photos and then post them :)
