I had a buff Orpington rooster a few years ago. I still have several of my EE/ BO mixes in my flock. Your chick will probably look very similar to this when grown.

Mine are great layers when they lay.. Usually 5-6 eggs a week. Mine do have a tendancy to go broody. Several hatched and raised chicks multiple times this year. Out of the 5 hens, 4 lay green eggs and 1 lays blue eggs. It's also possible to get brown eggs from that cross depending on the genes contributed by the EE hen.
Here's one of their eggs. Mine consistently lay 65-66 gram eggs.
The chick looks like it could be at least part lavender orpington.
