Nice photos. None of my hens went broody so I didn't think of bringing one indoors to sit chicks. hmmm..

Owned by 5 dogs, 2 house cats, countless fish, and 9 hens, 2 production red hens, 2 americauna hens, and 5 black australorp, And 6 grandchildren. And 3 beehives.. Bees have had a little better year since we got some rain.

Well she went broody outside, she hatched the 1st chick outside. Then I moved them all indoors because it was very cold and I didn't have a set up where the chicks could get in and out of the nest easily. I kept momma with them so I didn't have to worry about a heat lamp.
