New in Missouri

Thread Starter
Hello from Missouri.

Kept finding old posts in my searches for various chicken info, so decided to join to find newer info.

Currently lining in Missouri, with fifty something birds and one hubby. Three r peafowl, 10 r ducks, some r bantams & the rest r regular chickens.

Having more interest in genetics of the flock these days. New interest in dark brown eggs. Would love to acquire some blue Marans in the coming year.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I love the chocolate eggs of the Marans. In my personal opinion they are the prettiest eggs in the chicken world. Good luck in getting your Blue Marans. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at http://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
