Wanting ideas for a pigeon loft

Thread Starter

I am researching raising pigeons. Does anyone have any plans or pictures of a loft for them? I do not plan to race, only raise & sell them.

All the websites I have found are geared towards racing pigeons, & not much info on the breeding side.

Any info would be helpful.
Thanks

Jean

The main reason you see more about racing rather than breeding, is because racing is the biggest part. Even if the parents have good pedigrees and race results, that doesn't always mean the babies will live up to their parents' greatness. So testing out the pairs through racing are vital. But even if you don't race, you could probably still easily sell babies from good breeders smile Even if those people don't plan on racing, since a lot of people just want homers for fun.

I have pictures of my loft here: http://picasaweb.google.com/MaryOfExeter
