Bertha laid her first egg!! I'm so proud! What a lovely colour!

I got my first one too from my EE this morning...not nearly as bright as yours but still coloured! Congrats!

4 Pullets - Splash (the first Lady), Leia (the faithful sidekick), Penny (the little Lady) and Elle (the runt), 5 guppies (Red, Blue, Sunny, Rocket and Chubs) , 2 dogs (Maisy and Luna), 1 leopard gecko (Turbo) and a husband!

Thanks all! I'm amazed at how bright it is! It's almost to splendid to eat. . . Almost wink.png it's my Cream Legbar that produced it smile.png I wasn't expecting her to lay to mid-late Jan so I was very surprised!

I could blow the the egg what a smashing idea! Although will all her eggs be this bright or will they vary my other chickens egg colour are pretty uniform so I hope it stays that colour smile.png

Congrats!  Cream Legbar's lay a beautiful colored egg.

Was breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders. Not anymore thanks to a bobcat.

 

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.
