Aluspray and eggs

I'd like to try aluspray on a hen with a large wound. I'm concerned about the other hens pecking at it and their eggs. Anyone know if it's safe to eat eggs from chickens treated with aluspray?
 
Is it a deep wound? If it is, I would probably try to use Vetericyn or saline for awhile to heal it somewhat before using aluspray or alushield. I believe that aluspray and alushield are for more less serious wounds and abrasions. I don't know any thing about egg withdrawal. I have a can, but have never had to use it.
 
Forgot about vetericine! Thanks!! I'll use that.

It is pretty deep from what I can tell. I've been using blue kote but someone recommended the aluminum bandage. I'm intrigued, but not comfortable with possible egg contamination.
